Trust Center
The smarter this gets, the more it has to explain itself.
Every number here is a planning estimate, every recommendation can tell you why it appeared, and every piece of information about you can be corrected or removed.
How AlignWithAlign works
You answer questions in plain language, the tools model scenarios from your answers, and a licensed advisor picks up the conversation when you want one. Nothing you do here starts a mortgage application, and nothing here reviews your credit.
Planning mode vs. application mode
Everything on this site is planning: education, preferences, and modeled scenarios. When you begin an application, we say so on screen — You're now beginning your official borrower profile. — and information moves into the secure mortgage systems.
See what AlignWithAlign knows about youWhat is an estimate?
Results are modeled from the assumptions shown and the numbers you entered. Nothing has been verified, no credit was reviewed, and no lending decision has been made. Actual terms depend on a complete application and underwriting.
Every calculator shows its inputs under How we calculated this, and every personalized card can answer Why am I seeing this?
AI & automation
What it does
- · Understand what you're asking
- · Route you to the right tool or person
- · Explain a scenario you already built
- · Summarize your plan
- · Point out planning steps you haven't done
What it never does
- · Approve or deny anything
- · Tell you whether you qualify
- · Quote or promise a rate
- · Determine eligibility or set loan terms
- · Create adverse-action reasons
- · Replace your licensed advisor
Automation decides when to help, never who is more valuable. Full detail on the AI transparency page.

How long we keep things
- · Anonymous planning data — On this device until you clear it
- · Saved plan — Kept while active, reviewed after 24 months of inactivity
- · Advisor notes — Retained per lender recordkeeping policy
- · Consent records — Retained as evidence of permission, even after revocation
- · Audit logs — Retained per security program
- · Application information — Held in the lender's systems under legal retention rules
Security
AlignWithAlign is built as a financial system, not a marketing site. Without publishing details that would help an attacker: we use encryption in transit and at rest, strong authentication with multi-factor for advisor and account access, role-based access limited to what a person needs for their job, audit logging of sensitive access, monitoring and testing, vendor security review, and a written incident-response process.
Sensitive identity, credit, income and document data is handled inside approved mortgage systems, not in the public planning experience.
Accessibility
We build to WCAG 2.2 AA as a product standard. Every slider has a keyboard and numeric alternative, progress is stated in words as well as color, cards are real buttons and links, motion respects your reduced-motion setting, and charts include a text summary and data table.
